In development

Our energy facility makes sense where waste pressure, grid fragility and responsible policy meet. These are the markets we are assessing against three simple tests.

Why these markets

Three problems. One facility answers all three.

  1. 01

    Waste pressure

Volume that exceeds what existing infrastructure can absorb, with landfill capacity measured in years rather than decades.

  2. 02

    Energy need

A grid that is constrained, fragile, expensive, or all three — where baseload dispatchable capacity and grid stability can both be achieved without a premium.

  3. 03

    Policy support

A shared commitment to clean, responsible waste and energy management — and a regulatory environment open to private generation reaching the customers who need it.

Markets under early-stage development or assessment

Seventeen markets, four continents.

Early-stage development and assessment are not the same as a project. Nothing on this list has a site, a permit or a contract — that distinction is the point of a separate page.

World map of Circon's project footprint. Two active projects marked in green — the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico. Markets under early-stage development or assessment marked in blue: Texas and Virginia in the United States, Mexico, Costa Rica, Panama, Colombia, Ecuador, Brazil and Argentina in the Americas; Spain, Italy and Croatia in Europe; Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the UAE, Oman and Singapore in the Middle East and Asia.
Green marks an active project. Blue marks a market under assessment — no site, no permit, no contract.
