Sustainability

ESG and governance

Four policy documents in one place, each dated and version-controlled. The ESG policy and the governance framework beneath it have been independently reviewed by Black & Veatch.

Framework

Equator Principles, UN SDGs, Paris alignment.

Circon’s ESG policy is informed by the Equator Principles and aligned to the UN Sustainable Development Goals. It applies to all employees, subsidiaries and affiliates, and is designed to hold ESG factors inside corporate strategy rather than alongside it.

Environmental

Sustainable resource use, pollution prevention, and climate action aligned with the Paris Agreement.

Social

An equitable workplace, fair labor practice, safe conditions, and active engagement in the communities where we operate.

Governance

Ethical practice, responsible financing, and compliance with local and international standards.

  • The standards of conduct expected of every director, employee, contractor and agent acting for Circon — conflicts of interest, fair dealing, confidentiality, and how to raise a concern.

  • Prohibited conduct, facilitation payments, gifts and hospitality, third-party and agent due diligence, record-keeping, reporting routes and non-retaliation. Applies in every jurisdiction Circon operates in.

  • ESG Policy

    Updated May 15, 2024

Environmental, social and governance principles, informed by the Equator Principles and aligned to the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Applies to all employees, subsidiaries and affiliates.

  • The framework Circon’s project companies use to receive, register, investigate and resolve complaints raised by workers, communities, contractors and other stakeholders. Built on the IFC Performance Standards and the Equator Principles, and adapted into a project-specific plan at each facility.

    Date to be confirmed

Correct use of the Circon word mark and The Carbon Revolution®, including the registered symbol, spacing and permitted contexts.

    PDF to follow

Every document is dated and version-controlled, and each signed PDF is posted here as it is issued. A policy with no version and no date is not something a counterparty can rely on at diligence.

Independently reviewed

Circon’s ESG policy and the governance framework beneath it have been reviewed by Black & Veatch, an independent engineering firm, rather than self-assessed. The review covers the policy framework, not individual project outcomes, which are assessed separately at diligence.

Diligence questions go to a named person, not a shared inbox.
