Dr. Bryan Shaw, Ph.D., P.E.

Biography

Dr. Shaw advises Circon on environmental regulation and ESG compliance. He founded his consulting firm in Lexington, Texas, advising on regulatory requirements at local, state, national and international level, including permitting advocacy, enforcement mitigation, regulatory policy and testimony to legislative and governmental bodies.

From 2007 to 2018 he served as Chairman of the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, appointed by the Governor of Texas. He was called upon by the EPA Administrator to be the Texas representative to the Good Neighbor Environmental Board addressing environmental and infrastructure issues along the US–Mexico border.

He has served on US EPA Science Advisory Board committees and multiple terms on the USDA Agricultural Air Quality Task Force, and was the 2022 recipient of the PEI Professional Engineer of the Year award.
