Mary Ann Bean

Biography

Mary is a chartered accountant and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, with over 30 years in audit and transaction support at EY in London and overseas — including Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Russia, Ukraine and the UAE.

She specialized in extractive industries, providing audit and assurance services to oil and gas, chemicals and mining clients, with significant experience of international, UK and US reporting standards and of production sharing and concession agreements.

She has led due diligence on acquisitions across oil and gas, steel, copper and coal mining, and advised market entrants in Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkmenistan. She serves as an Independent Advisor to Circon Energy LLC and on the Board of Directors of Circon Energy Spanish Company, SL.
