Iván “Pudge” Rodríguez

Biography

After a 21-year professional playing career, Pudge is widely considered the greatest defensive catcher in MLB history — Hall of Fame inductee, all-time games leader at catcher, World Series champion, AL MVP, 14-time All-Star, 13-time Gold Glove and seven-time Silver Slugger.

He remains Special Assistant to the General Manager of the Texas Rangers, instructs major and minor league players, and works as an on-air analyst.

Off the field he has built a business career through investments domestically and abroad, and supports a wide range of community and non-profit organizations.
